Too much of the wrong stuff—not enough of the right stuff!
Most of us have turned the healthy food pyramid upside down. 95% of us don’t eat the kinds of foods that support good health. Instead of making whole grains the base of our diet, most of us eat less than one serving a day. Instead of eating lots of fruits and vegetables, we eat lots of sweets and unhealthy fats, and instead of choosing heart healthy fish, we are choosing burgers and pizza. Many people don’t eat fish due to concerns about presence of heavy metals and contaminants.
