The #1 reason this is happening is poor diet. We are not getting enough of protective nutrients in our diet. There is no shortage of calories, but the key nutrients that promote health and protect us against these chronic diseases are missing.
On top of that – we are not as physically active as we need to be. We are spending our time in cars and in our offices and not getting much exercise – perhaps due to our busy lifestyles with multiple priorities.
